  • The SBT Program increases student’s interest in books. Children’s interest in books and stories triple when teacher’s implement the SBT program.

 

  • The SBT Program increases the amount of time a child rereads a book. Parents and teachers report children who participate in the SBT program read the books provided 10 or more times each.

 

  • The SBT Program increases the time children spend reading books at home. Parents of students who receive SBT books report a 95% increase in the time their children spend reading books at home.

 

  • The SBT Program increases the time parents read to and with their child. Parents of students who receive SBT books report a 95% increase in the time they read to and with their child at home.

 

  • The SBT Program improves story comprehension. Teachers report student comprehension doubled with their students after utilizing the SBT program.

 

  • The SBT Program increases parent understanding of reading skills needed to help their children at home. Parents of students who participate in the SBT program report a 98% increase in understanding of reading and comprehension skills to support their child at home.
